All visitors to Bhutan require a visa except the nationalities from India, Bangladesh and Maldives. So it is the responsibility of each passenger to have a passport that is valid at least 6 months with sufficient blank visa pages. We will process your visa around one month before your scheduled trip; all we need is some personal information in a form along with a scanned copy of the identity page of your passport.

Soon after receiving a full tour payment in advance, your visa will be authorized a couple of weeks before your trip. A scanned copy of your visa clearance letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be emailed to you, the copy of which must be carried with you to hand in at the Druk Air counter.

Once your itinerary is finalized and paid for your trip, we will be able to make your flight reservations with Druk Air. Please download the Visa Application form and return it to us by email or by fax.
